Les Editions JB

The idea of turning to editing originated after the very successful exhibit showing Michel Sedan’s work in 2005 at L’Espace Jörg Brockmann pour la Photographie. Our desire was to allow the public to continue enjoying these photographs at home in an outstandingly well-made book. After reflecting and investigating about fine bookmaking, we are now launching the first of a series of books dedicated to photography, each edited in a limited number and each accompanied by a limited edition of a signed print. The idea is to be able to offer a collectible photograph as well as to allow them to enjoyed in the context of the work in which the image was conceived.

Editions JB, starting with Michel Sedan’s work, express the desire to produce rare, beautiful books of outdtanding craftmanship quality. We purposely avoid mass production so that the quality of the object reaches the collector’s expectations for limited editions books. This and future creations of Editions JB have in common rigorous and minutious care for details as well as excellent printing quality.
